Paralysis is one of the common clinical diseases in pets, often accompanied by pain and body paralysis. In rabbits, the most common causes of hindlimb paralysis due to trauma are the thoracolumbar vertebral fractures, dislocation or subluxation, and lumbar disc herniation. The resulting spinal cord injury can develop and worsen over time, eventually leading to incurable paralysis.
